Overview

Saved replies, prompts, and story directions in a sidebar. One click drops them into any AI chat or roleplay.

QuickCue keeps the things you type over and over one click away. Open the sidebar on any chat site, click a card, and its text lands in the message box. Built for people who spend real time with AI chatbots, AI characters, and roleplay or story games, where the same replies, prompts, and scene directions come up again and again. It works just as well for the prompts you reuse on everyday AI assistants. WHAT IT DOES • A sidebar of your saved cards, opened from the toolbar or with Alt+Shift+C • Click a card to place its text in the chat box. Shift+click to add it after what you've already typed • Narrative cards format themselves: tag a card Narrative and it goes in wrapped in asterisks, the way roleplay sites mark action, so you can mix it freely with your own dialogue • Tag every card (Reply, Prompt, Narrative, or anything you like) and filter by tag • Keep separate cards for each character you talk to, with shared cards available everywhere • Name blanks: write {{name}} in a card and it fills in with the character you're talking to. QuickCue suggests the name from the tab, so you rarely type it • No character mode for everyday assistants: shows only your plain prompt cards and skips name detection on that site • Send your way: click a card twice to send it, send on the first click, or never send automatically • Changed your mind? Cancel a loaded card to restore what you'd typed. Deleting a card or a character can be undone • Tuck the sidebar out of the way with one button; a small tab brings it back, and you can drag that tab anywhere along the edge • Sits on the left or right side of the window • A tray of your 20 favorite emoji, fully customizable • "Blur images" hides images and video on the page from anyone nearby. Hold Alt and hover to peek • Works in Incognito windows once you allow it in Chrome's extension settings PRIVATE BY DESIGN • No account, no sign-up, no servers • Your cards are stored on your device and never leave it • No analytics, no tracking, no ads • QuickCue only touches a page when you click its icon or press its shortcut. It asks for no blanket access to your browsing HOW TO USE IT • Open any chat site and click the QuickCue icon • Click inside the site's message box once • Click a card Press + to write your own cards. Hover a card and click the pencil to edit or delete it. QuickCue is an independent tool and is not affiliated with any chat service.
