QuickCapture
Overview
Capture long pages as stitched PNG images or paginated PDF files.
Capture a full page or just the element you need, and save it as PNG or a paginated PDF. QuickCapture helps you keep articles, documentation, lists, and other page content in a convenient local file. HOW TO USE • Click the QuickCapture extension icon to open the compact toolbar. • Choose PNG or PDF, point to an element, and click to capture it. • Press ↑ to select a parent element, ↓ to return to a child, or Esc to cancel. • Use “Capture full page” to capture the whole page without selecting an element. KEEP THE CONTENT YOU WANT Temporarily remove unwanted elements before capture, and undo removals when needed. The page is restored when capture finishes or is canceled. Drag the toolbar by its QuickCapture logo and name to move it out of the way. SETTINGS WITHIN REACH Expand “Details” to adjust capture delay, fixed bars, and PDF page breaks. Choose PDF breaks that try to avoid splitting elements or fill each page. Your capture preferences are remembered for next time. PRIVACY Screenshots and captured page content are processed locally in your browser and are not uploaded by QuickCapture. Only capture preferences are saved using Chrome’s settings sync. Chrome restricts capture on some pages, including its internal pages and the Chrome Web Store.
