Translate selected text in place as you browse — long selections too. Uses Google Translate.

Quick Translator lets you translate text on any web page without leaving it. Select a word, a sentence or several paragraphs and the translation appears right next to your selection, in a clean pop-up that only shows the translated text. FEATURES • In-page translation: select text and click the small icon (or have the pop-up open immediately – your choice). • Long texts: translate whole paragraphs and long articles in place; long selections are split and translated automatically, keeping the paragraph structure. • Toolbar pop-up: type or paste any text, or translate what you have selected on the page. • Right-click menu: "Translate selection" and "Translate this page". • Listen to the translation (text-to-speech) and copy it with one click. • Open the text in Google Translate for alternatives and details. • 130+ target languages; the interface is available in 11 languages (English, Turkish, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Russian, Arabic, Japanese, Chinese) and follows your browser language automatically. • Works inside frames, on pages with strict security policies, and with light and dark themes. PRIVACY Translations are provided by Google Translate: the text you choose to translate is sent to Google's translation service. To improve the extension, anonymous usage statistics are sent via Google Analytics (for example, how often translations, listen or copy are used, the languages involved and a text-length range) with a random ID that is not linked to you. The text you translate, the translations and the pages you visit are never sent. You can turn statistics off at any time in the extension options ("Send anonymous usage statistics"). No account, no ads, no servers of its own, no selling of data. Your settings are stored in Chrome's sync storage.
