Quick Symbols: search and copy characters

Quickly search and copy symbols, special characters, accented letters, Greek letters, and mathematical symbols.

Quick Symbols is a search tool for symbols and special characters that lets you quickly copy and paste them from Chrome. Instead of browsing through a board with hundreds of characters, simply type what you need and find it directly. You can search using names and related keywords in either English or Spanish. For example: “enie” for ñ, “at” for @, “omega” for Ω, “mu” for μ, “infinity” for ∞, or “copyright” for ©. It includes Greek letters, mathematical symbols, currencies, arrows, punctuation marks, accented characters, and other Unicode symbols. Main features: * Search for symbols by name or related keyword. * Copy any character with one click or by pressing Enter. * When you open the extension, you can see all available symbols, with your recently used ones shown first. * Recently used symbols are stored locally in your browser. * If you can’t find what you’re looking for, you can suggest a new symbol directly from the extension. * The search bar recognizes terms in both English and Spanish. It can be useful for students, programming, statistics, mathematics, writing, documents, or anyone using a keyboard that does not include certain characters. Privacy: your recently used symbol history remains stored locally. If you voluntarily submit a suggestion, only the text you enter is sent through Google Apps Script so the request can be reviewed and the extension can be improved. Quick Symbols is free.
