Quick Browser Actions lets you perform everyday actions on the current page and its tabs with keyboard shortcuts. Key features: - Copy the current page URL to the clipboard - Duplicate the current tab; duplicated pinned tabs open as regular, unpinned tabs - Split the display first, then choose the right-side tab from a centered selection page - See each candidate's favicon, title, and site; the adjacent right tab is selected by default - Select with the mouse or Arrow keys and Enter, or press Escape to cancel and restore the original window - Focus the left or right window from the keyboard - Swap the positions of the two windows - Return the separated tab to its original window position, restoring its pinned state and the original window state - Enable or disable each action from the extension popup - Customize shortcuts from Chrome's extension shortcut settings Default shortcuts on macOS: - Copy URL: Command + Control + C - Arrange side by side: Command + Control + S - Focus left window: Command + Control + Left Arrow - Focus right window: Command + Control + Right Arrow Default shortcuts on Windows and Linux: - Copy URL: Ctrl + Shift + U - Arrange side by side: Ctrl + Shift + S - Focus left window: Ctrl + Shift + Left Arrow - Focus right window: Ctrl + Shift + Right Arrow The copy action uses U for URL because `Ctrl + Shift + C` is reserved by Chrome DevTools. Actions without a default shortcut can be assigned from Chrome's extension shortcut settings. The side-by-side action does not use Chrome's native Split View. It first arranges the current tab on the left and a dedicated chooser on the right. Selecting a candidate replaces the chooser with that existing tab. On first use, Chrome asks for optional tab and favicon access so the chooser can display open-tab details. Privacy: The extension does not use network requests, analytics, advertising, or user accounts. It accesses the current page URL only when the user runs the copy action. When the chooser is opened, it processes open-tab titles, URL metadata, identifiers, positions, pinned state, and Chrome-provided favicons locally to display candidates and move the selected tab.
