Overview

Highlight any text, tap Shift, and get a straight answer with its sources — without leaving the page.

Quick AI checks things for you, where you are already reading. Highlight a sentence and tap Shift. A small window appears over the page with a direct answer — and the sources it came from, on a rail down the side. Point at any sentence in the answer and the source it came from lights up. No new tabs, no copying and pasting into a chat box, no losing your place. HOW IT WORKS • Tap Shift once on highlighted text — get an answer straight away. • Tap Shift twice — edit the question first. • Tap Shift twice with nothing highlighted — ask anything. • Ask a follow-up without starting over — the sources build up as the conversation does. NOTHING TO SET UP Install it and it works. No account, no API keys, no configuration. You get a daily allowance of free answers; signing in with Google (optional) raises it. All Quick AI ever asks Google for is your email address. If you want more, there is an optional subscription — $3.99 a month, or $18.99 for six months — that raises the daily limit further. Everything described here works without it. BUILT FOR CHECKING CLAIMS Most AI tools answer confidently from memory, which is exactly how they get recent things wrong. Quick AI searches the live web first and answers from what it finds. If it could not verify something, it says so on the answer rather than letting you assume. When you highlight a claim, the first words you get are the verdict — "Yes, that's right" or "No — that's wrong" — followed by the number, date or name that settles it. DESIGNED TO GET OUT OF THE WAY • One quiet pane of smoked glass that reads over any page, light or dark. • Drag it anywhere, resize it, and it remembers. • It closes when you close it — not the moment you click the page behind it, because reading an answer means clicking around the article it is about. PRIVATE BY DEFAULT • Only the text you highlight is ever sent anywhere. • No tracking, no analytics, no advertising, ever. • Source icons come from your browser's own cache, so no third party learns what you are reading. • Works without an account; signing in shares only your email address.
