QueueGuard is a read-only, local-first governance companion for Jira Service Management queues and Jira Software boards. It reads the issues visible on your Jira page and, entirely in your browser, tells you what to work next and why — with the SLA and breach risk surfaced first. No backend. No telemetry. Nothing leaves your machine. WHAT IT DOES Work-next, explained — one clear next action with the reasoning behind it, and an execution plan that advances as you mark work done. SLA & breach forecast — see what's already breached and what's about to, computed from your visible/measured SLA data. Queue health at a glance — a compact strip of Score, Breached, Backlog and Oldest, with trend arrows since your last visit. Aging & backlog health — how long issues have really been sitting, and where the backlog is unhealthy. Filter & incident clusters — a transparent in-view filter grammar (no fuzzy guessing) plus detection of repeated-keyword incidents. Cross-queue roll-up — a worst-first view across the queues you visit, kept on your device. Governance score & policies — an explainable governance score composed from concrete, visible policy checks. No black box. Handover reports — copy-ready shift-handover, end-of-day, incident and standup summaries (copy-only, never posted anywhere). Focus mode & session analytics — a distraction-reduced layout, a focus timer, and neutral session stats. CORE (free) gives you prioritization, execution guidance, SLA confidence, queue health and the governance policy set (read-only). PRO unlocks custom scoring weights and named profiles, policy tuning and custom policies, the analysis modules (Workflow Health, Admin Drift, Executive Dashboard), handover report templates, and export. PRIVACY & TRUST Read-only on Jira — QueueGuard never creates, edits, or moves your issues. Local-first — settings, license and history live in your browser's local storage only. No backend service, no analytics, no tracking. PRO licensing is verified offline with a signed key — no license server call. QueueGuard works on Jira Cloud (*.atlassian.net) JSM queues, Software boards, and issue search. What's new (v3.31.2) Accessibility and clarity pass from a full usability-heuristic review: the side-panel tabs now announce the active view to screen readers and support arrow-key navigation; QueueGuard respects your system "reduce motion" setting; the Options tabs are ordered so Governance and Policies sit together; the selected-issue actions are clearly labelled ("Open Selected" / "Mark Selected Done") so they're never confused with the recommended-issue actions; and the governance policy count is always accurate. Builds on v3.31.0's UI reorganization (tabbed side panel with a five-second "glance" strip and unified Execution block; regrouped Options page with a new Insights tab and collapsible PRO modules; glance trend arrows; a consolidated colour system; and a next-action that advances past tickets you've completed).
