Overview

Keep your last 10 copied text items within reach.

Copy something new without losing what you copied before. Queue keeps your last 10 copied text items from supported webpages in a compact browser popup. Whether you’re gathering notes, collecting links, or moving text between tabs, Queue helps you retrieve earlier copies without returning to the original page. HOW IT WORKS 1. Select text on a supported webpage and copy it normally. 2. Click the Queue extension icon to open your history. 3. Click a saved item to copy it again. 4. Paste it wherever you need it using your usual paste shortcut. FEATURES • Your 10 most recent items Keep up to 10 distinct text items, with the newest at the top. Copying the same text again moves it to the top without creating a duplicate. When the history is full, a new item replaces the oldest. • Easy-to-scan previews Browse text previews and identify saved web links with a LINK label. • Click to copy Select any saved item to put it back on your clipboard, ready to paste into a webpage, document, email, or another application. • Pause capture Temporarily stop saving new copies and resume when you’re ready. Your existing history remains available. • Delete and clear Remove individual entries or clear your entire Queue history. • Local storage Saved text stays in your browser’s local extension storage. Queue does not send it to external servers, use analytics, or require an account. History remains available between browser sessions until you delete it or it is replaced by newer items. WHAT QUEUE SUPPORTS Queue captures selected plain text copied from supported webpages, including written content, numbers, code snippets, and URLs copied as text. This version does not capture images, files, copies from the browser’s address bar, or copies made in other desktop applications. Browser settings pages, extension-store pages, and websites that override normal copying may not support capture. Custom “Copy” buttons may also be unsupported. PRIVACY AND CONTROL Queue uses webpage access to detect text-copy actions, storage permission to save your history and preferences, and clipboard-write permission to copy an item when you select it. Standard password fields are skipped. Sensitive information copied from ordinary webpage text or other text fields may still be saved, so you can pause capture whenever needed. Clearing Queue’s history does not clear your system clipboard. GETTING STARTED Pin Queue to your browser toolbar for quick access. After installing, refresh any webpages that were already open before copying text. A little memory for the text you copy.
