QueryQuiet — Search History Cleaner
Overview
Automatically delete supported search history while keeping other browsing history. Optional control for online search suggestions.
QueryQuiet automatically deletes supported search result pages from your browser history to help reduce personal search terms appearing in the address bar. Other webpage browsing history is preserved. You can pause automatic cleanup or clear matching existing search history from the popup. Matching history is also cleaned on installation, when Chrome starts and when automatic cleanup is re-enabled. An optional setting blocks online search suggestions, including suggestions shown while typing. It requires a separate permission and can be turned off independently. History processing happens locally. QueryQuiet does not send browsing history or search terms to the developer or external servers and includes no advertising or analytics. The extension cannot hide the address bar dropdown or guarantee it stays empty. Some older search terms require one-time removal through Chrome's own Remove suggestion control. Bookmarks, open tabs and cloud search activity are not cleared. History deletion is permanent and may sync to other devices when browser history sync is enabled.
