Query Chains (beta)

Overview
Query, inspect and edit Salesforce records with SOQL/SOSL, bulk-load data from a file, and explore schema, events and logs.
Query Chains is a Salesforce developer tool for the org you're already in. Open it on any Salesforce tab and it picks up the org and record you're looking at — no setup, no connected app, no credentials to enter. It uses the Salesforce session you already have. QUERY • SOQL and SOSL with autocomplete, inline schema hints and query-plan preview • Results as a virtualised table — sort, filter, and drill into any record • Export to CSV, XLSX or JSON • Bulk API 2.0 for large extracts, and Id-keyset chunking for objects that would otherwise time out DEV CONSOLE • Run Anonymous Apex and read the debug log beside the script that produced it • Every script tab runs independently, so one long run never blocks another • Call the org's REST API, a Named Credential, or an external host through Salesforce • Compose requests with params, headers, body and variables, then copy as cURL, Apex or Node • Explore GraphQL against a browsable schema and translate between SOQL and GraphQL • Monitor Platform Events and search Debug Logs with governor limits and hot spots LOAD DATA FROM A FILE • Drop in a CSV, JSON or spreadsheet and map it to any object • Insert, update, upsert or delete with an explicit preview and confirmation • Files are read in your browser and sent only to your selected Salesforce org • Match on external Ids, resolve lookups, and load related parents and children • Clean data with trim, case, split, concat, defaults, phone normalisation and value maps • Update and upsert download a rollback receipt before the write begins • Interrupted Collections loads retain local progress for safe continuation INSPECT AND EDIT • A side panel follows the Salesforce tab you're on • Inspect record fields and schema, and run a compact query beside the record • Edit fields inline; clone or create from a draft that writes nothing until you confirm • Explain record access through profiles, permission sets, sharing rules and ownership EXPLORE THE ORG • Jump to objects, Setup pages, recent records or users from one omnibox • Paste a record Id and go straight to it • Inspect the blast radius of Apex, Flows and components that depend on an object or field PRIVACY Your Salesforce session never leaves your browser. No telemetry, no analytics and no third-party server. Query Chains communicates only with the Salesforce orgs you are signed in to. Beta software. Works with sandboxes, Developer Editions and production orgs. Data-changing actions are always behind an explicit review and confirmation step.
