QualityGuard for Twitch helps keep live Twitch streams at the quality you prefer. Twitch can sometimes drop a stream to a lower resolution and leave it there. Main features: - Detects unwanted quality drops on live Twitch channels - Restores your preferred quality automatically - Supports Auto, Source, 1080p60, 720p60, 480p, 360p, and 160p targets - Trigger modes for 160p-only recovery or drops below your preferred quality - Optional in-player toast when quality is restored - Per-tab badge counter showing restore activity - Lifetime restore stats in the popup - Keyboard shortcuts for toggling and manual restore - Debug export for troubleshooting QualityGuard has one focused purpose: helping maintain Twitch player quality. It does not block ads, does not modify Twitch network requests, and does not change unrelated Twitch features. Privacy: QualityGuard does not collect personal data, track browsing history, or send data to external servers. Settings, restore stats, and recent diagnostic events are stored locally in your browser using Chrome storage. Limitations: - Designed for live Twitch channel pages - Available quality options depend on the stream - Does not block ads - Does not modify Twitch network requests
