Scan and decode QR codes from clipboard images, local files, webpage screenshots, or your camera. QR Scanner is a simple Chrome extension for scanning and decoding QR codes directly in the browser. The extension opens in Chrome's Side Panel and provides four ways to get a QR code: • Paste from Clipboard — paste an image containing a QR code directly from the clipboard. • Open Image — select an image from your computer or drag and drop it into the extension. • Capture QR from Page — select an area containing a QR code directly on the current webpage. • Camera — scan a QR code using your computer's camera. QR Scanner recognizes different types of QR code content, including website URLs, Wi-Fi network information, contact details, email addresses, phone numbers, SMS data, geographic coordinates, calendar events, and plain text. After a QR code is decoded, its data is displayed as separate fields whenever possible. You can copy an individual value by clicking it or using the copy button next to the field. The Copy All button copies all detected information, including the raw QR data. Privacy QR code processing is performed locally in your browser. Images, screenshots, camera frames, and decoded QR data are not sent to the developer or third parties. QR Scanner does not use analytics or advertising and does not require a user account.
