QR code scanner

Toggle scanning, then click an arrow on a QR code to open its link in a new tab.

Open web links from QR codes directly on the page. Click the toolbar icon to turn scanning on. Each visible QR code containing a web link gets a small blue arrow and a shortened URL preview over the code. Hover to see the full destination, then click to open it in a new tab. Click the toolbar icon again, or press Escape, to turn scanning off. Scanning refreshes after scrolling and while the page changes. There is no popup, settings screen, camera access, account, or scan history. Screenshots of the visible tab are processed temporarily on your device to find QR codes. Screenshots and decoded results are not uploaded, sold, used for ads, or saved by the extension. Opening a link uses your browser's normal navigation. Only HTTP and HTTPS links are opened. Text-only, Wi-Fi, email and other QR payloads are ignored. Browser-protected pages cannot be scanned; blurry, very small, partially hidden or obscured codes may not decode.
