Overview
Scan QR codes on any page or image and turn links into styled QR codes. Free, no sign-up, nothing leaves your browser.
SnapQR scans and creates QR codes right in Chrome. Everything runs in your browser: nothing you scan or create is uploaded. SCAN • Right-click any image → "Scan QR code in this image". • Right-click a page → "Scan QR codes on this page": finds every code on screen, even several at once, and outlines where each one is. • Or open the popup → Scan: scan the current tab, open an image file, or paste a screenshot (Ctrl+V). • Links show their site name, with a warning for short links, http, lookalike letters and bare IP addresses, so you can check before you open. • WiFi codes show the network name and copy the password in one click. • Recent scans are kept in this browser only. Clear them any time. CREATE • Click the toolbar icon: a QR code for the page you're on is ready. • 13 ready-made styles with frames and labels (menu, review, WiFi, wedding, business card, event…), plus your own color and label text. • Download PNG or SVG, or copy the image straight into a document or chat. • Right-click a link or selected text → "Create QR code" for it. PRIVATE BY DESIGN • No account, no tracking, no ads. • Codes are made and read on your computer. The extension never sends what you scan or create anywhere. • Asks for no access to your sites: it only looks at a tab when you click it. Need a logo in the middle, PDF for print, or 1,000 codes from a spreadsheet? Use the free generator at snapqr.org. Shortcut: Alt+Shift+Q opens SnapQR.
