QR Code Scanner & Generator is an on-device browser tool for scanning QR codes on webpages and creating QR codes from text or URLs. Key features: - Scan QR codes in page images, canvas elements, video frames, CSS backgrounds, and the visible viewport. - Right-click any page element to scan regular images, inline SVG/path graphics, and canvas content. - Mark QR code locations on the page. Open detected web links, copy content, locate results, or remove markers. - Reuse the previous scan when the page has not changed. - Create QR codes from up to 1,000 characters with configurable size, error correction, and colors selected visually or entered as hexadecimal values. - Download PNG files or copy generated QR code images to the clipboard. - Automatically use Chinese or English based on the Chrome interface language. Privacy: Scanning and generation happen locally on the device. The extension does not collect, store, sell, or upload webpage content, QR code content, or user input to a developer server. It contains no advertising, analytics, or remotely executed code. Chrome-protected pages such as `chrome://` pages and the Chrome Web Store cannot be scanned.
