QR Code Generator
Overview
Quickly generate QR Code, supports text, URL, and more
This is a lightweight and secure QR code generator extension designed for Edge users. It has been developed with strict adherence to privacy and security standards. Please consider the following notes during the certification process: 1. Single Purpose & Zero Permissions: This extension has a single purpose: allowing users to manually input text or paste URLs to generate QR codes. It does NOT request any permissions (such as activeTab, contextMenus, or storage) in the manifest.json file. 2. 100% Local & Offline Execution: The QR code generation logic is completely handled on the client side using an open-source local JavaScript library. It operates entirely offline and does not establish any network connections, nor does it interact with any external third-party APIs or remote servers. 3. No Data Collection: This extension does not collect, track, store, or transmit any user data, browsing histories, or inputted text content. It perfectly complies with Microsoft’s privacy policies. 4. Test Steps for Reviewers: - Click on the extension icon to open the popup. - Type or paste any text/URL (e.g., "https://www.microsoft.com") into the input area. - Verify that the QR code is generated instantly and accurately in the popup UI.
