QQR is a privacy-first QR code scanner and generator for Chrome. SCAN QR CODES QUICKLY - Select any visible webpage area containing a QR code. - Right-click an image to scan it directly and see the result in QQR's popup. - Choose a local PNG, JPEG, or WebP image containing a QR code. - Decode and automatically copy the exact QR value. - Never automatically open decoded links. CREATE FLEXIBLE QR CODES - Generate a QR code from text or a URL. - Right-click a page, link, or selected text to create its QR code. - Use ready-made Wi-Fi, contact card, email, and SMS templates. - Create phone, calendar, location, and WhatsApp QR payloads. - Customize size, error correction, colors, margin, and transparency; QQR verifies readability locally. - Add an optional PNG, JPEG, or WebP center logo. - Copy the PNG or download PNG and SVG output. WORKSPACE, PDF, PRINT, AND HISTORY - Open a larger workspace for persistent scan and creation workflows. - Scan local PDFs page by page with progress and cancellation. - Print verified codes at a chosen physical size and copy count. - Optionally keep bounded safe Text/URL history; sensitive structured values are excluded and private session is available. ADDITIONAL BARCODE TOOLS - Explicitly open Barcode tools to scan common 1D barcodes from webpages or images. - Create Code 128, Code 39, EAN-13, EAN-8, UPC-A, and ITF-14 barcodes. - Validate lengths and check digits before copying or downloading PNG and SVG output. PRIVATE BY DEFAULT Page captures, selected images and PDFs, QR/barcode contents, generated codes, and logos are processed locally. QQR does not upload code data and does not request permanent access to every website. PERSONALIZE QQR - Light and dark themes. - The interface is available in 6 languages. - Theme and language preferences stay in Chrome's local extension storage.
