Overview

QoreX — the official QoreChain wallet. Quantum-safe by default.

QoreX is the official wallet extension for QoreChain, the quantum-safe Layer 1 blockchain. It connects QoreChain dApps to your wallet and asks you to approve every single action — nothing is ever signed or shared without your explicit consent. WHAT THE EXTENSION DOES 1. Connect to QoreChain dApps When a dApp asks to connect, QoreX shows you an approval window with the site's origin. If you approve, the dApp can see your public QoreChain address (qor1...) - and nothing else. Each website is approved individually: a site you approved yesterday has no access to what another site can see, and no site can connect silently in the background. 2. Review and sign transactions When a dApp requests a signature, QoreX decodes the request and shows you what you are actually signing: the recipient, the amount, and the network - never a blind hash. Every transaction requires a separate approval. QoreX also tells you the protection level of each signature: transfers on QoreChain's Native lane carry a hybrid post-quantum signature (ML-DSA-87, NIST FIPS 204, paired with secp256k1), and if a request is classical-only, the approval window warns you explicitly before you sign. 3. Your address and balance at a glance The popup shows your qor1... address (click to copy) and your live QOR balance. If your tokens are still vesting - the normal case for allocations at launch - QoreX shows the honest split: how much is available to spend right now and how much is still locked. If a transfer would exceed the spendable part, the wallet says so before you sign instead of letting the network reject it. 4. Receive A Receive screen shows your address with a QR code, so anyone can scan it from a phone instead of copying a long string. 5. Stake your QOR Delegate to a validator, unstake, and claim your rewards - all from the popup, all signed with the same hybrid post-quantum signature as a transfer. The validator list shows each one's commission, and validators the network has jailed are left out rather than shown greyed, because delegating to one is never what you want. Unstaking takes 21 days before the QOR is yours to move, and the wallet says so before you sign, not after. 6. Several accounts from one recovery phrase Create and switch between accounts in the same wallet. The phrase you already wrote down restores every one of them, so there is no second secret to keep safe. Switching moves everything with it: sending, staking, receiving and your name all follow the account you are on. 7. Claim a @handle A @handle is a short, readable name that points at your QoreChain address, so people can pay you at @yourname instead of a long string. You can claim one straight from the popup; the claim is signed with your own key and belongs to that specific address. 8. Pay someone by name Type @name instead of an address. The name is resolved through the QoreChain handle registry and the answer is verified against a signing key built into this extension - an answer that fails verification is refused, not shown. The resolved address is always displayed for you to confirm before anything is signed, and if a name points somewhere different from the last time you paid it, the wallet stops and shows you both addresses. 9. Send on other networks The same recovery phrase also holds accounts on the major EVM chains and on Solana, so you can send from the popup without a second wallet. Those networks cannot carry post-quantum signatures, and QoreX asks you to acknowledge that before it lets you send - your QOR stays on the protected Native lane. 10. Solana dApps QoreX registers itself through the Solana Wallet Standard, so Solana dApps list it in their wallet picker automatically. Connecting and signing each open the same approval window, with the transaction decoded rather than shown as a hash. 11. Unlock with a passkey You can enroll a hardware passkey (Face ID, fingerprint or a security key) as a second way to unlock the vault, built on the WebAuthn PRF extension - the unlock key comes from your authenticator hardware, so a stolen vault file is useless without it. Your password always remains as a fallback. 12. Coexist with your other wallets QoreX announces itself through the EIP-6963 multi-wallet standard. It never overwrites or hijacks window.ethereum, window.keplr, or any other wallet you already use - dApps list QoreX alongside them and you choose per site. 13. Your language QoreX is available in English, Romanian, German, Spanish, French, Italian, Turkish, Arabic, Japanese and Korean. It follows your browser's language and falls back to English, with full right-to-left layout for Arabic. You can switch it at any time from the popup. HOW YOUR KEYS ARE PROTECTED - Your keys exist only on your computer, in a vault encrypted with AES-256-GCM. The encryption key is derived from your password (or a passkey, where your browser supports it) and never leaves the vault module. - The wallet locks automatically; every unlock requires your password. - dApp connections are per-origin and every signature is approved per transaction. - QoreX is non-custodial: we cannot access, freeze, or recover your funds. Only your recovery phrase can restore the wallet. WHAT QoreX DOES NOT DO - No analytics, no tracking, no ads, and no data collection of any kind. - No remote code: everything the extension runs ships inside this package. - It never modifies pages beyond announcing the wallet provider API, and it never reads page content unrelated to wallet requests. - It cannot act on its own: every connection and every signature starts with a request and ends with your explicit approval. PERMISSIONS EXPLAINED - "storage": keeps your encrypted vault, your language choice and your per-site connection approvals on your device. This is the only permission QoreX requests. - Content script on websites: injects the standard wallet provider API so dApps can DISCOVER the wallet. Discovery is passive - access still requires your approval per site. ABOUT QORECHAIN QoreChain is a quantum-safe Layer 1 blockchain with post-quantum cryptography enforced at the protocol level. QoreX pairs with the QoreX mobile app for iOS and Android, which adds portfolio, social recovery and quantum-safe inheritance.
