Qhaway Vision is the cloud-hosted half of the Qhaway Vision security monitoring product. Point a camera at something, ask questions about what it sees, get alerts on things you care about — without installing a heavy camera daemon or paying for a separate appliance. This extension is an optional add-on to the main Qhaway Vision web app at qhawayvision.com. It exists for one reason: when you close the Vision tab in your browser, capture stops. The extension solves that — capture keeps running in the background as long as Chrome is open, even with every Vision tab closed. Chrome / Chromium only. This extension uses the Manifest V3 chrome.offscreen API, which is not available in Firefox. Firefox users should keep a Qhaway Vision tab open in their browser, or run the headless edge agent for always-on capture without a browser.
