Qcheck reads a small business's QuickBooks Online file and reports what is wrong: money counted twice, deposits that never landed, bills that look unpaid, a sub paid $2,000 or more with no W-9, and the rest of the dozen ways books quietly go wrong. This extension brings that report inside QuickBooks. A small mark sits at the edge of every QuickBooks screen with the number of things still open; drag it anywhere, or move it with the arrow keys. The same number sits on the toolbar icon. Open a bill, an invoice, an expense or a customer that the checkup flagged and a card appears beside the mark: what is wrong, in one line, and three buttons: Fixed it, Not a problem, Later. You decide on the spot and the next check remembers. Press "How to fix it" for the exact steps for that record, the record's own values ready to copy, and a "Show me" that lights up the field a step is talking about. Click the toolbar icon and it tells you plainly where things stand: which company is linked, how many findings are open, when the checkup ran, and a button to your Qcheck page. If nothing is linked yet, if the connection is down, or if your link has expired, it says so. What it reads: the address bar of the QuickBooks page, to know which record is open, and the page's labels when you press Show me, to find the field. It never reads what you type, never scrapes the page, and never changes anything in your books. You do the fixing, with the steps.
