QATestingJobs helps QA professionals capture real job listings from the page they are viewing, check ATS match quality against their resume, and start tracking the application in one flow. How it works: - Open a job page and click the QA Testing Jobs extension icon (Chrome side panel). - The extension reads the current page and extracts job title, company, source URL, and job description text. - Pick one of your saved resumes and compute an ATS preview score. - See match details (matched skills, missing skills, and score explanation). - Start the application flow to save the role into your QATestingJobs Application Workspace (Tracker). - If the role was already saved, the extension shows that state so you avoid duplicates. The extension is designed for job listings across major job boards and company career pages. If extraction is incomplete on a page, you can edit fields and continue. Sign-in uses your QATestingJobs account (existing browser session, magic link, Google, or Apple). Data handling summary: - The extension reads page content only when you open/rescan it on the active tab to run job capture. - When you request scoring or save to tracker, extracted job details and selected resume ID are sent to QATestingJobs over HTTPS to generate the score, detect duplicates, and create/update tracker records. - The extension stores a local install ID and extension auth session in Chrome extension storage for reconnect/sign-in continuity. - The extension is not designed to collect passwords, payment card data, or unrelated browsing content, and this data is not sold or used for personalized advertising.
