QA BugCam helps QA engineers, testers, developers, and support teams capture clear evidence for bug reports without leaving Chrome. CAPTURE SCREENSHOTS • Capture the visible area or a full web page. • Open screenshots in the annotation editor. • Crop, draw arrows and rectangles, add text, and blur or redact sensitive areas. • Copy the result or save it as a PNG. QUICK-SAVE COMPLETE EVIDENCE • Save a screenshot immediately without opening the editor. • Optionally package the screenshot, buffered console output, and a HAR-style network report into one uncompressed ZIP file. RECORD THE ACTIVE TAB • Record the current browser tab as MP4 when supported by Chrome, with WebM fallback. • Include tab audio when needed. • Use countdown, pause, resume, and stop controls. • Save automatically to a configurable Downloads subfolder or save manually. OPTIONAL INTEGRATIONS • Google Drive: connect your Google account and upload captures to a folder in your own Drive. QA BugCam creates the configured folder when needed. • Jira Cloud: configure your Atlassian site, email, and API token, then explicitly attach an annotated screenshot and optional comment to a Jira ticket. KEYBOARD SHORTCUTS • Alt+Shift+S — visible screenshot and annotate. • Alt+Shift+D — visible screenshot with Console + HAR ZIP. • Alt+Shift+F — full-page screenshot and annotate. • Alt+Shift+R — start tab recording. • A master switch and individual controls let you disable any shortcut. PRIVACY QA BugCam runs only after an explicit user action. Captures stay on the device unless the user enables Google Drive or chooses to send an annotated screenshot to a configured Jira site. The developer does not operate a server that receives capture data.
