P³ Privacy helps you avoid accidentally sharing personal data when filling forms, chatting, or uploading files on the web. WHAT IT DOES • Scans text as you type or paste in inputs, text areas, and rich editors (e.g. ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gmail). • Detects many types of PII: emails, phone numbers, credit cards, SSNs, API keys, names, locations, employers, IBANs, passport numbers, dates of birth, usernames, IP addresses, and more. • Redacts detected data (e.g. ***@domain.com, ***-***-****) and shows you an Undo / Confirm panel so you can restore or keep the redaction. • Scans uploaded documents and files and warns you if they contain sensitive data before you submit. • Lets you enable or disable redaction per site and choose which PII types to detect in Settings. PRIVACY BY DESIGN • All detection and redaction runs on your device. No text or PII is sent to any server. • Your preferences (on/off, PII types, site whitelist) are stored locally in the browser. • No analytics, no tracking, no account required.
