PVE Snippets adds clipboard paste support to Proxmox VE (PVE) noVNC consoles and other pages. Paste text into your VMs or any focused text field without retyping. Features: • Floating paste button — Always visible in the bottom-right on noVNC console pages. One click to paste from clipboard. • Keyboard shortcut — Use Ctrl+V (Windows/Linux) or ⌘V (macOS) while the console is focused to paste. • Paste from popup — Open the extension popup, type or paste text, then click "Send" to type it into the active tab. Works with noVNC and normal text fields. • Saved snippets — Save frequently used text and send it with one click. Manage up to 200 snippets in a searchable, sortable table — select multiple at once for bulk sync or delete. • Keyboard layout support — Choose US, UK, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Dutch, Canadian English, Australian/NZ, or Irish so symbols and accented characters type correctly on non-US VMs, including proper dead-key composition (e.g. Spanish á, ñ) the same way a real keyboard works. • Settings sync — Preferences (timing, keyboard layout, panel position, etc.) sync across your devices via the browser's own built-in account sync when signed in — never snippets or clipboard content. • Optional GitHub Gist backup — Back up snippets to your own GitHub Gist, manually or with an auto-sync toggle. Which snippets get backed up is opt-in per snippet and off by default, since your own token never leaves your device. • Optional "Enter" after paste — Toggle in Settings to send Enter after each paste. • Export & import — Backup or move your snippets as a JSON file, or import a shared snippet set from a public Gist. Privacy: All data stays on your device by default. Clipboard is read only when you paste. Snippets are stored locally and never synced unless you explicitly opt in to GitHub Gist backup, snippet by snippet. No analytics and no data sent to any server the developer controls. Ideal for Proxmox VE users who use noVNC consoles and want fast, reliable paste and snippet support — including on non-US keyboard layouts.
