Overview

Turn your finished Lichess games into puzzles. Stockfish finds your key moments in your browser; nothing is uploaded.

Turn your own finished Lichess games into puzzles. Instead of generic puzzle sets, practice the positions that actually came up in your games. After a game ends, press "Make puzzle" on the game page. The extension finds a moment where you had one clearly best move, then lets you try to find it on an interactive board. HOW IT WORKS 1. Finish a game on lichess.org (Standard, Chess960, King of the Hill or Three-check). 2. Press the "Make puzzle" button on the game page. 3. A Stockfish engine running inside your browser looks at the positions where it was your move and picks the sharpest one. 4. Play the puzzle. Puzzles can be up to 3 of your moves long, and the opponent's replies are played for you. 5. Save the ones you want to keep and come back to them in the Saved tab. FEATURES - Puzzles built from your own games, including moves you missed - Supports Standard, Chess960, King of the Hill and Three-check - Multi-move puzzles (up to 3 of your moves) when the game has a sharp sequence - Hints: show the solution if you get stuck - Saved puzzles list stored on your device - Opens as an overlay on the page, so it also works in browsers without a side panel PRIVACY - Everything runs locally in your browser. The engine is bundled with the extension. - The only network request is to lichess.org, to download the finished game you ask it to analyze. - Saved puzzles stay in your browser's extension storage. No accounts, no tracking, no data sent to us. FAIR PLAY The engine only analyzes finished games. The extension checks the game status from Lichess before any analysis starts and will not analyze a game in progress. NOTES - The button only appears on the supported game types. Other variants, such as Atomic or Crazyhouse, are not supported. - If no position in a game has a clear best move, the extension picks a move where you lost the most, or says there is no clear puzzle. - In Chess960, castle by moving your king onto your own rook. - Promotions are handled as queen promotions. - Uses Fairy-Stockfish (GPL-3.0) for analysis. This is an unofficial extension and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Lichess.
