Send magnet links and .torrent files to putiorr

putiorr grab sends the magnet links and .torrent downloads you click to your own putiorr server, which queues them on put.io and downloads the finished files to your storage. This extension is a companion to putiorr. It needs a putiorr instance you host yourself — it does nothing on its own. HOW IT WORKS Click a magnet link or a .torrent download on any site and the grab goes to putiorr instead of your browser's download folder. A message appears in the corner of the page naming the profile it landed in, or telling you plainly what went wrong. Where a grab lands is decided in putiorr, not here. Each grab profile claims the sites it handles, and one profile can be set to take everything no other profile claims. The extension holds nothing but the connection to your server. WHAT IT DOES - Captures magnet: links and .torrent downloads as you click them - Right-click any link and send it to a profile you choose, which also covers trackers whose download URLs look like download.php?id=12345 - Shows in-page feedback naming the profile a grab went to, or the reason it failed - The toolbar button tells you which profile the current site routes to, and offers to claim it for one of them - Fetches .torrent files from inside the page, so private tracker session cookies apply - Auto-capture can be switched off if you would rather grab only by right-click - Alt+click always bypasses the extension and downloads the file normally SETUP 1. Install and run putiorr, and create at least one Putiorr Grab profile in it 2. Open this extension's options and enter your putiorr URL, for example http://nas:9091, plus a username and password if your putiorr uses them 3. There is no backend, no analytics, and no third-party service anywhere in this extension. The developer receives nothing and has no access to any of it. Your putiorr URL, a capture toggle and your profile names are kept in extension storage. If you set a username and password for your putiorr, they are kept in local storage so they are not carried by Chrome Sync.
