Push to TMT

Push a Gmail message's subject, body, sender and date into your TrackMyTour instance with one click.

Push to TMT is an internal tool for TrackMyTour users who create tours from enquiry emails. When you open an email in Gmail, the extension adds a "Push to TMT" button to the message header. Clicking it opens your TrackMyTour instance's new-tour form in a new tab, with the email's subject, sender, body text and date already filled in — no copying and pasting between tabs. How it works: • Open any message in Gmail and click "Push to TMT". • The extension reads that message's subject, sender, body and date. • If the email body contains a "Host:" or "Hostname:" line naming your TrackMyTour instance, that instance is used. Otherwise the extension uses the base URL you set in its settings. • A new tab opens on your TrackMyTour new-tour form with the fields prefilled. • If your session has expired, the extension detects the login redirect and tells you to sign in first. Configuration: click the extension icon to set your TrackMyTour base URL. This is used whenever an email does not name an instance itself. Privacy: the extension reads a message only when you click its button on that message. Email content goes to your own TrackMyTour instance and nowhere else. There is no analytics, no tracking, and no third-party code. The only thing stored on your device is the base URL you configure. This extension requires an existing TrackMyTour account.
