You have limited time. Purpose Ratio doesn't block sites, set timers, or shame you for using them. It asks one honest question at the boundary. When you open a site you've chosen to track, it asks what you're there for: a specific video, a reply to one person, ten minutes of reading, whatever it actually is. When you close the tab, it asks whether that's what happened: yes, kind of, or no. That's the whole loop. No blocking, no streaks, no guilt language. Just an honest record of what you meant to do against what you actually did, so a pattern you couldn't see becomes one you can. Nothing is tracked by default. You pick which sites to track, one at a time, and Chrome asks you to confirm access to each one specifically before anything happens on it. The free version runs entirely on your device. No account, no server, no analytics, no telemetry. Nothing is sent anywhere, ever. Everything it records stays in your browser's local storage until you export it or uninstall the extension. There's no copy anywhere else, so export first if you want to keep your history.
