Purple AdBlock is a video ad-blocker for Twitch.tv. The extension uses an external proxy in an ad-free country, only video requests are sent through this proxy to retrieve an ad-free, full quality stream. The extension does not collect or store your personal information and is opensource. Just added it to Chrome, tested it, immediately got an ad. Useless.

Used to work perfectly and beautifully. Unfortunately at the moment it removes the chat and under-video controls and uptime, to which it's not worth using. Hopefully it can be fixed. Haven't found another extension that works.

This extension does work, but as previous reviews say it does brick your twitch at random points during the stream.
