The extension is designed to be simple enough for daily use while still giving users meaningful control. You can turn protection on or off, enable safe search support, add extra blocked keywords or websites, allow trusted domains, and review local analytics such as weekly block counts, top matched rules, category breakdowns, and quiet streaks. Purity Shield stores settings locally in Chrome extension storage. It does not use remote code and does not send browsing activity to an external server.
