Plugin supresses basic_auth logins leading to ERR_TOO_MANY_RETRIES

For some unknown reason this plugin suppresses all basic_auth logins (I tried the ones I wanted and generic test sites online) often leading to either ERR_TOO_MANY_RETRIES or just getting a 401 without ever seeing the possibility to log in.

Google Voice is broken when this extension is activated.

I use https://voice.google.com/ to make phone calls on my computer but after installing this extension the audio would no longer work. I have tested all my extensions and verified that this is the extension causing the issue. The extension just needs to be enabled for it to break Google Voice.
