All user data—icon layouts, folders, and configurations—are stored locally within the browser or optionally uploaded to a private, user-configurable Cloudflare D1 + Worker setup for cross-device synchronization. This cloud sync method requires no third-party login or tracking, giving users full control over their data. For convenience and safety, pureTabs also supports manual backup and restore via one-click export/import of JSON files, so you can archive configurations or migrate setups effortlessly. pureTabs also caters to aesthetics and personalization: you can upload custom wallpapers to use as tab backgrounds and choose icon styles that reflect your preferences. The interface is designed for distraction-free productivity while providing quick access to favorite links and workflows. Organize your workspace by creating folders through right-click menus, dragging icons into/out of folders, and renaming or dissolving folders as needed to maintain clarity. 4.
