Punchlist
Overview
Review any website — pin feedback to elements, text, or regions. Each site gets its own Google Sheet.
Punchlist turns any website into an organized review. Walk a site, pin feedback exactly where it belongs — on a specific element, a snippet of text, a drawn region, or the whole page — and every note lands in a Google Sheet dedicated to that site. No accounts to create, no separate database: the reviews live in your own Google Drive, and you can share them with your team in one click. Whether you're doing QA, design review, client feedback, content proofing, or an accessibility pass, Punchlist keeps every issue tied to the exact spot it refers to — so nothing gets lost in a long email thread or a vague "the button on the pricing page looks off." ────────────────────────────── WHY YOU'LL WANT IT ────────────────────────────── • Feedback that stays anchored. Click an item later and Punchlist scrolls to and highlights its exact spot — navigating to the right page first if needed. • One spreadsheet per site. Your reviews are plain Google Sheets in your Drive. Open them, sort them, export them, or hand them to a developer — no lock-in. • Built for teams. Share a review by email and it's shared automatically; assign items to members and track who's fixing and who's reviewing. • Screenshots included. Capture the pinned spot as you go, and attach more images later from an item — by file or by paste. ────────────────────────────── HOW IT WORKS ────────────────────────────── 1. Open the side panel on any website and start a review. Punchlist creates "Punchlist — <site>" in your Google Drive. 2. Add an item and pick how to pin it: • Element — a specific control or block on the page • Text — an exact quote, down to a single letter, that survives page changes • Area — a rectangle you draw over the page • Page — a general, whole-page note 3. Fill in a title, description, priority, effort, and assignee. 4. Work the list — move each item from Open → In progress → In review → Done, filter out finished items, and sort by newest, status, or page. The side panel always follows the tab in front, so the list you see is always for the site you're looking at. ────────────────────────────── SHARED REVIEWS ────────────────────────────── Every review has a Members page. The owner adds a teammate by email and the underlying spreadsheet is shared with them through Google Drive automatically. Items can be assigned only to members, and each item records who created it. Invited teammates open the site, pick the review from their Drive (or paste the shared link), and it loads for them from then on. ────────────────────────────── YOUR DATA STAYS YOURS ────────────────────────────── Punchlist has no servers of its own. Everything happens between your browser and Google's APIs: • Reviews are stored as spreadsheets in your Google Drive. • Screenshots are saved to a folder next to each review. • Google sign-in uses the standard OAuth consent screen; Punchlist only touches the files it creates and the reviews shared with you — never the rest of your Drive. • Screenshots capture the visible page only after you grant a one-time permission, and only when you choose to attach one. ────────────────────────────── GOOD TO KNOW ────────────────────────────── • You'll sign in with your Google account the first time you open the panel. • A dedicated Google Sheet is created the first time you review a site — you confirm with a "Start review" button before anything is created. • Screenshots are optional and can be turned off per item. Pin what needs fixing, keep it all in one place, and share it with the people who can fix it. Install Punchlist and turn your next website review into a real punch list.
