Punchlist Web Capture
Overview
Capture web pages — comment, screenshot, page URL and element info — straight into the Punchlist macOS app.
Punchlist Web Capture is the browser companion to the free Punchlist macOS app. Turn on capture mode, click or drag anywhere on a page, type a comment — and each annotation lands in the app as a rich Item: your note, a screenshot of the exact region, the page URL and title, and metadata about the element you pointed at. Built for the feedback loop between you and your coding agent: file what's wrong with a page the moment you see it, then work the queue in Punchlist with Claude Code over MCP. HOW IT WORKS • Click the toolbar icon, pick a Space, and start capturing (or press Ctrl+Shift+L). • Click to drop a point or drag to select a region, then type a comment. • Keep browsing — a capture session follows you across pages. • Send to Punchlist: every annotation becomes one Item in the app. ALL LOCAL, BY DESIGN The extension makes no network requests. Captures travel over Chrome's native-messaging channel to the Punchlist app on the same computer and are stored in a folder in your home directory. No account, no server, no analytics in the extension. REQUIRES THE FREE PUNCHLIST macOS APP This extension is a feeder for the Punchlist macOS app and does nothing useful without it. Download the app free at https://trypunchlist.vercel.app — install and launch it once, and the extension connects automatically.
