Overview

Resize, reorder, and locally filter N-central grid columns.

Make N-central tables easier to work with. Pulse adds adjustable column widths, drag-to-reorder headers, and quick filters for rows already loaded in All Devices. RESIZE YOUR COLUMNS Drag the edge of a table header to make room for device names, addresses, and other details. Double-click that edge to auto-fit the column to its header and widest loaded value. Auto-fit includes loaded rows hidden by local filters, can grow or shrink the column, and does not fetch additional results. Widths are capped at 2,000 px. For keyboard resizing, focus the header edge and press Left or Right Arrow. The All Devices Status column starts wide enough for its label and controls. PUT THE DETAILS IN YOUR ORDER Drag a header label to move a data column. On dashboards, columns stay within their fixed device section or scrolling metrics section. The selection checkbox stays in place. FILTER LOADED RESULTS Use the funnel in an All Devices header to type part of a value. Filters ignore case and combine across columns. Erase the text to clear a filter. Pulse shows how many loaded rows remain visible and preserves N-central's server total. These filters do not query your server or search results that have not loaded. Existing dashboard filters continue to work as provided by N-central. ENABLE ONLY THE SERVERS YOU CHOOSE Open your N-central server, click Pulse in the browser toolbar, and choose Enable on this server. Your browser asks for permission for that server. You can disable Pulse from the same popup. Chromium permissions cover a hostname and scheme, including all ports on that hostname. LOCAL BY DESIGN Pulse processes table content inside your browser. It has no analytics, advertising, external account, or publisher data collection. Server permission and script registration remain in the browser until removed; widths, column order, and text filters reset when the page reloads. REQUIREMENTS AND LIMITS An existing N-central installation and your own access to it are required. Pulse supports compatible HTML tables and the tested All Devices and dashboard layouts. Merged headers and unsupported grid structures are skipped. Site or theme changes can affect compatibility. Pulse changes the table presentation; it does not edit device records. Pulse is an independent Enterfusion extension. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by N-able. N-central is a trademark of its respective owner. AS-IS SOFTWARE — NO WARRANTY OR SUPPORT Pulse was built for the author's own use and team and is shared as-is. No warranty or support is provided. No technical assistance, maintenance, updates, bug fixes, or continued compatibility are promised. Use it at your own risk.
