Detailed Description：When searching literature, titles and abstracts are often not visual enough. Sometimes, one figure can explain the study much faster than text. PubMed Figure Preview displays article figure thumbnails directly below PubMed search results, mainly from open-access / PubMed Central (PMC) articles. You can browse figures on the search results page, click thumbnails to view a larger preview, and open the original article page to quickly decide whether a paper is worth reading in full. Main Features： • Display article figure thumbnails directly in PubMed search results. • Browse multiple figures horizontally. • Click a thumbnail to view a larger image preview. • Open the PubMed / PMC article page for full details. • Lazy loading and local caching to reduce repeated loading. • Automatically works after page changes, pagination, or new searches. • Configure the number of figures per article, feature toggles, and cache clearing in the popup. Privacy：This extension runs locally and does not collect personal data. It contains no ads and no tracking. It only uses publicly visible PMID/DOI information from the current PubMed page to request public NCBI / PubMed / PMC pages or APIs in order to display available article figures. Note：Figure previews are mainly available for open-access articles or articles indexed in PMC. Paywalled articles, newly published articles not yet available in PMC, or articles without publicly available figures may not show thumbnails.
