pub-mcp
Overview
Your AI agent writes posts in your browser via the local pub-mcp server. Supports Naver Blog. Unofficial; not affiliated with NAVER.
pub-mcp connects your own browser to an AI agent (Claude Desktop, Claude Code, or any MCP client) so the agent can write posts for you on a supported blog. Currently supported: Naver Blog. IMPORTANT: this extension is one half of pub-mcp. It also needs the pub-mcp MCP server, which runs on your computer. Add it to your AI client with one line: npx -y "@tenbilsoft/pub-mcp" mcp (Node.js 24 or newer is required.) Without the server the extension does nothing. How it works 1. You log in to Naver Blog yourself, in your own browser. 2. You open the extension popup, choose a workspace, read and accept the consent notice, and press "Connect". 3. Your agent sends a post (title, body, optional images, an optional category and tags) to the local server. The extension opens the Naver Blog editor in your browser, fills it in, and saves a draft. It publishes only when the request explicitly asks for it. Before publishing, it selects the requested category (the name must match, ignoring case and surrounding spaces) and reads the typed tags back; if either does not match, it stops without publishing. Category and tags are applied only when publishing, not to drafts. pub-mcp tells your agent to show you the post and ask before publishing, but the extension cannot check that the agent did. While Chrome is running, one pub-mcp host process per profile stays resident and restarts every 10 minutes; it exits when Chrome closes. So while Chrome is running, new jobs are checked for about every second instead of every 30 seconds at most. Privacy - No data is sent to the developer or any third party. There is no remote server and no analytics. Data goes only to Naver (what you asked your agent to write) and, if your agent uses an image link, to that image's address. - The extension talks only to the pub-mcp program on your own computer (Chrome Native Messaging) and to blog.naver.com in your logged-in tab. - The extension code never reads or stores your Naver password or cookies (your browser sends them to Naver as usual). - You can disconnect at any time from the popup. Unofficial: not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by NAVER Corporation. "Naver" is used only to describe what the extension works with. Automating posts may be limited by NAVER's terms; you are responsible for how you use it.
