Pture: Sidekick

Upload private photographs and help process your Pture library from your browser side panel.

Your private Pture photo library, close at hand in Chrome’s side panel. • Choose or drop photographs and videos to upload through Pture’s encrypted pipeline. • Use Upload to Pture on a public website image to add the selected photograph to your library. • Optionally let this computer help analyse photographs in your library with packaged local AI workers, without keeping pture.com or the side panel open. • Manage and revoke the connected extension under Devices on pture.com. A Pture account is required. Sign in and unlock your vault on pture.com, then explicitly choose Connect this extension to authorise a separate companion device. The extension does not receive your website password, verification code or session cookie. It receives its own scoped device credential and encrypted vault handoff so it can encrypt uploads and run authorised processing locally. The device credential and vault access are sealed in extension-local storage for browser restarts. Working keys and photograph inputs are used locally in memory. Model data and encrypted photographs may be cached locally. This does not protect a compromised browser profile or computer. Background processing follows your Pture participation, network and power settings. Chrome must remain open; browser suspension can pause work. Switching processing off pauses this extension’s AI while retaining upload access. Disconnect clears its saved authorisation and attempts to revoke its device credential. Website sign-out alone does not revoke this separately approved device; you can revoke it under Devices. Uploads from the file picker require the panel to stay open until the batch finishes. Upload to Pture reads only the image you explicitly select, omits cookies and referrer, and supports public readable HTTP(S) images up to 100 MB. Protected, redirecting or local/private sources may require downloading the file and choosing it manually. The extension does not scan browsing history. Executable AI code is bundled with the extension. Pinned model data may download from Pture or Hugging Face. Your selected photo data goes through Pture’s existing services, as explained in the privacy policy. Version 0.1.3 — Sidekick.
