Psono - Free Password Manager

A really well made product. i use it selfhosted on 2 clients. really good! only thing, i can't use passkeys. is there specific documentation for this feature? Thanks

I have the same issue as Katja DeCuir, where you have to sign in everytime. Also the auto fill appears to have stopped working. However, I can report that everything else is great.

Hi James, Are you checking the "Trust device" checkbox on login? If you don't do that you will have only a session for 24h. If you are hosting Psono on your own then there might be other settings there too that need to be adjusted for your instance. If that's the case please reach out to support@psono.com then we can take a look together.

using the chrome plugin on mac and self-hosted server. its great in the fact that it does TOTP for free, but its annoying in the fact that it doen't register when you check "trust this device" you still have to type your psono password and solve the TOTP or webauthn every single website. at that point i'd rather just type in my password rather than hunting down my phone every time. i wish it actually trusted this device.

Hi, I am sorry that you have issues. That for sure doesn't sound normal. Most probably you configured the session timeout to be like every 24h or so, which causes the re-login. Could you reach out to support@psono.com or our discord. Then I could take a look.

Psono is on a good path. We use it for a small startup and it's technically fine, needs some work on ux though and I am sure they will get there! The chrome extension is a bit annoying at times - mostly for me on gmail, where it triggers for spelling-popups and other clickables.

Hi Toni, Thank you very much for the feedback. Google just approved our update that fixes the mentioned bug. I hope your painpoint has been solved now with this fix. (It was bugging me myself alot ;D)
