WHAT IT MEASURES Eight criteria, scored independently and weighted into one result: • Factual accuracy — claims checked against sources found on the live web • Source veracity and transparency — who is cited, and can you follow it • Omission of relevant facts — what a reader would need that isn't here • Manipulative techniques — loaded framing, false urgency, selective quotation • Logical integrity — do the conclusions follow from what's presented • Internal consistency — does the article contradict itself • Fact vs. opinion — is the line between them clear • Authorial intent — is this reporting, persuasion, or something else WHY YOU CAN TRUST THE NUMBER Because you can check it. Every analysis shows which claims were examined, which sources were consulted, and where the reasoning holds or breaks down. Claims that couldn't be verified are marked as unverified rather than quietly counted as true. Research runs at the moment you ask, against the live web — not recalled from a model's training data.
