Proxy Switcher
Overview
Chrome proxy switcher for user-provided HTTP and HTTPS proxies.
Proxy Switcher lets you configure Chrome to use a user-provided HTTP or HTTPS proxy. Paste your proxy as a single string and turn it on or off with one switch. The extension applies the proxy configuration locally inside Chrome and automatically checks whether the connection is working. Features: - HTTP and HTTPS proxy support - Proxy authentication with username and password - Common proxy formats: scheme://user:pass@host:port user:pass@host:port host:port host:port:user:pass - One-click proxy switching - Automatic connection check and response time - Automatic reconnection after a browser restart - Multiple named proxy profiles - Keyboard shortcut: Alt+Shift+P - Forget saved data option Privacy: The extension does not collect, transmit, sell, or share user data. Proxy settings and credentials are stored only in the local Chrome profile on your device. The proxy password is stored locally so the extension can reconnect automatically after a browser restart. “Forget saved data” removes all locally stored proxy settings and credentials. Important: This extension does not provide proxy servers, VPN services, or network infrastructure. Users must provide their own proxy and are responsible for complying with applicable laws, website terms, and proxy provider rules.
