Properly Hide Sorcery Foils on TCGplayer
Overview
Toggle that removes "(Foil)" Sorcery cards from TCGplayer search results.
WHAT IT DOES • Removes every Sorcery card whose name contains "(Foil)" — including ones like "Blizzard (Foil) (Misprint)" and "Winter River (Foil) (Box Topper)". • Keeps pages full. Foils are removed from the search itself, not just hidden after the fact, so you still get a full page of cards instead of 2 or 3 leftovers. • Keeps the numbers honest. The result count and page numbers match what you can actually see. • Works with everything else on the site: filters, sorting, grid and list view, paging, and searching by name. • Updates in place. Clicking the button re-runs the search without reloading the page. • Remembers your choice until you turn it off. HOW TO USE IT 1. Open any TCGplayer search page, such as Sorcery: Contested Realm cards. 2. Click "Hide foils" in the filter bar, next to Clear Filters. 3. Click it again to bring foils back. The first time you turn it on, it spends a few seconds getting the list of Sorcery foil cards from TCGplayer, then refreshes that list once a day in the background. PRIVACY No accounts, no tracking, no analytics, and nothing is sent anywhere. The extension only talks to TCGplayer's own search, and your on/off choice is stored in your browser.
