Capture visible pages, selected areas, and supported full pages locally before you save or copy.

ProofShot is a private local darkroom for the web page already in front of you. Choose a visible frame, drag a precise area, or capture a supported full page. ProofShot opens every capture in a local review studio before it can be exported. Add solid-ink or pixel redactions, optionally add a timestamp or hostname strip, then explicitly save a PNG or copy one to your clipboard. ### Capture with intent - **Visible frame:** capture the current viewport exactly as it appears. - **Selected area:** close the popup, drag over the part you want, and review the crop locally. - **Full page:** ProofShot scrolls the active page locally, assembles it into one or more image sheets, and restores the original scroll position and temporary capture styles. ### A local review step before export - Solid ink and pixel redaction tools - Optional timestamp and site-hostname provenance strip - Full preview before save or copy - Chrome’s save dialog for downloads - A direct local PNG-copy action - Discard one draft or clear every ProofShot draft and setting ### Private by design - No account - No analytics, tracking, or advertising - No cloud upload or remote processing - No remote code - No page access until you invoke ProofShot on the active tab - No browser history collection ProofShot is deliberately scoped to regular `http` and `https` webpages. Chrome, extension, and other restricted pages are not supported. Full-page results are guarded: smaller fixed or sticky elements are temporarily hidden to reduce duplicate headers, and pages are split into numbered local image sheets of at most 16,000 pixels each. A capture is intentionally stopped if it would require more than eight sheets, rather than risking an unbounded local-memory operation; use visible or area capture in that case.
