No app switching, no chat windows, no middleman. ── YOUR AI, YOUR KEY ── Connect directly to the AI provider you already use. Proofreader works with Google Gemini, OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, and xAI Grok. Bring your own API key — your text goes straight to the model and nowhere else. ── STYLES ── Four built-in styles (Grammar Only, Casual, Neutral, Formal) or create your own with custom prompts, icons, and colours. Each style has its own thinking level and regional spelling variant. ── HISTORY ── Optionally save a log of every session. Search, re-use, or delete entries at any time. Everything is stored locally on your machine — nothing is sent anywhere. ── INCOGNITO MODE ── Need something off the record? Incognito mode prevents any session from being saved to your local history. ── AUTOMATION ── Auto-proofread on paste, or trigger after a typing pause.
