Save pages, original images and PDFs to your own local evidence library with Proofpage. • Preview the visible page text, remove private details, and save it to your desktop app. Optionally include links, image references and tables. • Save a public image or PDF directly by URL, without downloading it first. • Select an original PNG, JPEG, WebP or PDF file to preserve its actual bytes. • Pair with your local app using a short-lived code. • Keep changed page text as a new revision. Export reviewed page evidence as JSON when the app is offline. Requires the free, open-source Proofpage desktop app, version 0.3.0 or later: https://proofpage.app. The desktop app performs local OCR and PDF text extraction; the extension does not load remote code or send content to an AI service. Original-file imports are limited to 8 MiB; PDF extraction processes up to 20 pages. You choose what to save. Browser page evidence is editable, user-supplied evidence, not an independently verified server response. The companion does not collect passwords or cookies or run background collection. Sign in and complete any CAPTCHA on the website yourself. Public file collection runs through the desktop app and does not use your browser login session.
