PromptPen — AI Writing Assistant Rewrite, summarize, translate, or enhance any text on the web using AI. Select text on any page, and a floating toolbar appears with actions powered by your preferred AI provider. How it works 1. Install the extension and open the Dashboard 2. Add your AI provider (OpenRouter, OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, or any OpenAI-compatible API) 3. Enter your API key and model name 4. Select text on any webpage — the toolbar appears 5. Choose an action: Rewrite, Summarize, Translate, Fix Spelling, Change Tone, or use a custom prompt 6. The result replaces your selected text or is copied to your clipboard Key Features - Your API key, your provider — Bring your own AI provider. No subscriptions, no middleman. PromptPen has no servers. Supported Providers OpenRouter, OpenAI, Anthropic (Claude), Google (Gemini), and any OpenAI-compatible API. Privacy PromptPen does not collect or transmit any data to our servers. All text processing goes directly from your browser to the AI provider you choose. Your API keys are stored locally in your browser using the WebExtensions Storage API.
