Prepare image creation in ChatGPT and Gemini with clipboard images, files and reusable prompt presets.

PromptPalette helps you repeat an image-generation workflow in ChatGPT and Gemini using your saved prompts and a reference image. Copy an image to your clipboard or choose an image file, then run PromptPalette from the toolbar or a keyboard shortcut. It attaches the image, selects the site's image-generation mode and fills in your saved prompt. Features • Save up to 20 prompt presets, with a shared prompt or separate prompts for ChatGPT and Gemini. • Use a clipboard image or a locally selected PNG, JPEG or WebP image (one image, up to 20 MiB). • With auto-send off, choose a preset and, on Gemini, an available aspect ratio before preparing the message. The default ratio is unspecified. • Review the prepared message before sending, or enable optional auto-send separately for each site on this PC. Auto-send is off by default. • Use separate clipboard and file shortcuts, customizable at chrome://extensions/shortcuts. • Optionally sync presets through Chrome sync. Sync is off by default; images and this PC's auto-send settings are not synced. • Export and import settings as a local JSON file. • Choose English, Japanese or automatic display language. Requirements and limits Use Google Chrome 120 or later with a signed-in ChatGPT or Gemini tab. Image generation must be available for your account; the services' limits and charges still apply. PromptPalette does not provide an AI model or guarantee the resulting image. The extension operates the visible website interface. Website changes may require an extension update. Clipboard access requires a focused page and may require an additional click or manual paste. File input requires selecting a file. Existing drafts, attachments, ongoing generation and uncertain partial results stop the operation to prevent accidental replacement or duplicate submissions. Auto-send never retries an uncertain send automatically. Privacy and permissions No API key is required. There are no developer-operated data servers, analytics or advertising. Images and prompts are provided only to the selected ChatGPT or Gemini conversation as part of your requested operation. When you enable sync, your preset names, prompts and preset settings are stored in Google's Chrome sync service. Exported JSON files contain your prompts. activeTab and scripting allow the extension to operate the active supported page when you invoke it. clipboardRead reads an image for the clipboard workflow. storage saves settings and local operation status, and provides optional preset sync. The extension does not request permanent access to all websites. PromptPalette is an independent extension and is not affiliated with or endorsed by OpenAI or Google.
