PromptGen is a Chrome side panel for writing better AI prompts. Open it next to any tab, describe what you need, and get a copy-ready prompt. What you can do: - Choose a prompt type (text, image, or video), a target platform, and a scene. - Generate a prompt, copy it, regenerate it, or refine it with your own instructions. - Try a few free generations as a guest. Sign in on prompt-gen.net to keep going with credits. - Buy plans or credits on the website. The extension does not take payment or card details. - Switch the side panel between English and 中文. What this extension does not do: - It does not read the current tab, your browsing history, or the page next to the panel. - It does not inject scripts into websites. - It does not restore hidden one-tap “Improve” shortcut chips as a primary feature. Refinement uses the free-form instruction box. Data, in short: - Your intent, generated prompts, rewrite instructions, and optional feedback are sent to PromptGen servers. - Those texts are forwarded to a third-party AI provider (currently Anthropic Claude) through our configured server gateway. - The extension stores a sign-in token, a guest identifier, language, and the privacy-notice version in chrome.storage.local. - Full details: https://prompt-gen.net/privacy-policy
