Overview

Keyboard-first command bar for your AI prompts. Search, fill with page context, and send to ChatGPT, Claude & Gemini instantly.

PromptDeck is a keyboard-first command bar for the prompts you reuse. Press Cmd+K (Ctrl+K on Windows / Linux) on any tab, search your library, and the prompt is filled with the current page's context and dropped into the ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or Perplexity composer. No reformatting, no copy-paste shuffle. Features — Cmd+K command bar opens over any page. Type to fuzzy-search your library; Enter to run. — Variables fill themselves from page context: {{selection}} (your highlighted text), {{url}}, {{page_title}}, {{clipboard}}. Pick-list variables {{tone}} and {{language}} prompt you with a fixed option set. Any other {{token}} becomes a quick fill-in field. — Sends the finished prompt into the composer on ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and Perplexity. On every other site — and if a composer ever changes — it falls back to your clipboard so a paste always works. — Right-click any selected text → "Save selection as PromptDeck prompt" to capture a prompt without leaving the page. — Prompts are sorted by recent use, so the ones you reach for stay on top. — Manage your library from the options page: edit, tag, delete, and reorder. Free and Pro Free is local-first: up to 10 prompts, no account required, nothing leaves your device. An optional free account (coming) lets you sync across devices; you can use PromptDeck forever without signing in. Pro ($10/month) lifts the cap to unlimited prompts and adds encrypted cloud sync. Privacy Used locally (no account), PromptDeck makes zero network requests, uses no analytics, and stores everything in Chrome's local per-profile storage. An optional account (opt-in) adds sync and privacy-respecting aggregate usage stats — never your prompt contents. The Cmd+K command bar attaches to every page so the launcher can open on the tab you're already on — it does nothing until you press the shortcut, reads no page DOM until then, and transmits nothing. Keyboard Default: Cmd+K on macOS, Ctrl+K elsewhere. Rebind at chrome://extensions/shortcuts. For whom People who run the same prompts daily — engineers, writers, analysts, support — and want their prompt library to behave like the rest of their keyboard-driven tools: fast, local, out of the way. Changelog 0.0.1 — Initial release. Command bar, context-variable engine, ChatGPT / Claude / Gemini / Perplexity adapters with universal clipboard fallback, right-click capture, local-first free tier.
