Prompt Snippets
Overview
Save and insert prompt snippets into any LLM chat with one click or a slash command.
Save your best prompts. Insert them anywhere. Never retype again. Prompt Snippets lets you build a personal library of reusable prompt templates and insert them into any AI chat with a single click — or by typing a :: shortcut directly in the chat box. How it works - Open the extension popup and save any prompt you use repeatedly - Give it a short name to trigger it with ::name in any chat input - Or browse your saved snippets in the popup and click Insert Works everywhere you chat with AI Compatible with any AI chat interface that uses a standard text input — no site-specific setup needed. Why you'll want this If you use AI tools daily, you likely re-type the same prompts over and over — "summarize this in bullet points," "rewrite this more concisely," "act as a senior engineer and review this code." Prompt Snippets turns those repeating prompts into one-click actions. Features - Save unlimited prompt snippets with a title and full text - Insert via :: shortcut (::snippet-name) without leaving the keyboard - Insert via click from the popup - Drafts are preserved if you close the popup mid-edit - Lightweight — no account, no server, no tracking. All data stays in your browser. Privacy Your prompts never leave your device. Everything is stored locally using Chrome's built-in storage. No data is collected or transmitted.
